DAY (1) : ARRIVAL YANGON ( – / – / – )


Welcome at the airport and transfer to Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia.

Check in to hotel (International check-in time is 14:00PM) and day at leisure.

DAY (2) : YANGON FULL DAY TOUR ( B / – / – )


Breakfast at hotel. This morning, drive to famous Strand Road and visit busy Yangon harbour where ferries comes from upcountry and delta region along Ayeyarwaddy River. There you can enjoy beautiful scenery with view of local ferries boat in Yangon River.

Proceed to Sule Pagoda, dating over back over 2,000 years and colonial building in the city center, City Hall and Maharbandoola Park where you can see our Independent Monument.

The next visit to Bogyoke Market, formerly known as Scott’s Market, where there is time to browse through the dozens of stalls and shops. This is Yangon’s best market for handicrafts and other goods. (Market is closed on Monday and public holidays).

In the afternoon, visit to Chauktatkyi Pagoda (72 cm of huge reclining Buddha).

Next your guided tour goes to Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, one of central Yangon’s greenest spots. Here you will see the glittering Karaweik barge, a replica of the royal barge, and take a photo with views of Shwedagon in the background.

From here, continue to Shwedagon Pagoda the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Although the origins of the pagoda are unclear, the local legend states that the original structure was built 2500 years ago then renovated several times until taking its current shape in the 15th century. The 8-sided central stupa is 99 meters tall and gilded with gold leaf and is surrounded by 64 smaller stupas and your guide will show you around the massive complex, explaining why this temple is so revered. Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point. Return to hotel.

DAY (3) : YANGON – MANDALAY ( B / – / – )


Breakfast at hotel. In the morning transfer to Yangon airport and leave to Mandalay.

Begin a sightseeing tour of Mandalay with a visit to Mahamuni Pagoda. This pagoda is home to one of the country’s most revered Buddha images which, over the years, has been covered with gold leaf giving it an almost ‘lumpy’ texture.

Next visit to Shwe-im-bin Monastery, a peaceful and beautiful wooden monastery over 100 years old which is known for its lovely carving teakwood exterior, tiered roof, and surrounding wooden deck.

Mandalay is well known for its skilled craftsmen and through traditional workshops, learn more about the city’s cottage industries. Observe the production of wood carvings, kalaga tapestries, and gold-leaf where the techniques remained unchanged from those used centuries ago to craft items for the Royal Court.

In the afternoon, continue the tour of Mandalay with a visit to Shwenandaw Monastery, the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace. This grand teak building is known for its exquisite woodcarving.

Then explore to Kuthodaw Pagoda, whose 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures have earned it the title ‘World’s Biggest Book’.

Afterward, visit Kyauktawgyi Pagoda – located near the southern entry to Mandalay Hill. The pagoda is carved out of a single block of local marble. Enjoy sunset at Mandalay Hill. Transfer to hotel.

DAY (4) : MANDALAY – BAGAN ( B / – / – )


Breakfast at hotel. This morning, transfer to Mandalay Airport for domestic flight to Bagan.

Between the 11th and 13th centuries, when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar, the rulers constructed thousands of huge stupas and temples, many of which are still standing today on the banks of the Irrawaddy River.

Upon arrival in Bagan, proceed on a sightseeing tour, starting with colorful Nyaung Oo market. We continue visit to the Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa. Stop at Bulethi Pagoda where you will get an opportunity to observe the panoramic view that is at once spectacular and unforgettable. Followed by Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite jatakas murals paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.

In the afternoon, visit Ananda Pagoda, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple and Ananda Okkyaung is one of the few surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period. Make a photo stop at the highest Thatbyinnyu Temple in Bagan. Continue to the massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork and Sulamani Temple one of Bagan’s most attractively constructed temples famous for its ornamental work and interior frescoes. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the temples. Return to your hotel.

DAY (5) : BAGAN – MT. POPA – BAGAN ( B / – / – )


After breakfast at the hotel, visit to Mt. Popa. Which is the most important nat worship centre in the country, is said to be the core of an extinct volcano last active 250,000 years ago. Now, we can find Mt. Popa as the Oasis of dry zone. Go back to Bagan.

In the afternoon, visit to the countryside village of Minnanthu, the least visited area in Bagan with temples such as Payathonzu, with its unusual architecture and Tantric Buddhism influence. Return to hotel.

DAY (6) : BAGAN – HEHO – INLE LAKE ( B / – / – )


Breakfast at hotel. This morning transfer to Bagan Airport for your domestic flight to Heho.

In the afternoon, visit to the countryside village of Minnanthu, the least visited area in Bagan with temples such as Payathonzu, with its unusual architecture and Tantric Buddhism influence. Return to hotel.

Upon arrival to Heho airport transfer to Nyaung Shwe Jetty and take a boat to Inle Lake. Check in at Hotel. Today we start boat excursion on the Inle Lake. Enjoy a full day boat trip on Inle Lake – a photographer’s dream. Visit to Floating gardens, which is Intha farmers grow flowers and vegetable on the floating land. Afterward, visit to Floating villages, Lotus-petal robe weaving looms.

In the afternoon, continue visit to Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda the most venerable pagoda on the lake, which houses five images of Buddha completely gilded and which donated by King Alaung Sithu.

Then, we explore to In Paw Khon Village to observe the silk weaving and next visit to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery which located in Ywama Village. It is the biggest and oldest wooden monastery on the lake. Return to hotel.

After morning breakfast, take a boat to Nyaung Shwe Jetty and transfer to Heho Airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival Yangon, transfer to International Airport for your departure flight.
